FORREST GUMP
The movie is about Forrest, who is sitting on a bench, telling his life story for random people who is also just sitting on this bench, waiting for their bus. I will now do a summary of his life, and what he told all the people that was passing by.
He grew up in Greenbow, Alabama with only his mother. They lived in this big white house on the countryside that the mother had inherited from her parents. Since Forrest and his mother had this big house by them selves, they decided to rent out some of the rooms for people who lived out of their suitcases.
One day, there was this man who rented a room. He had a big hair quiff and played the guitar. When the supper was finished, Forrest mother find the young man and Forrest in a room-Forrest dancing and the young man singing and playing on his guitar. Because of the braces Forrest had on his legs, he didn't had the opportunity to dance like a normal person would have done, but little did he know that Elvis took after this dance step and made it become famous all over the world.
Forrest never had any friends, until his first day of school when a blonde girl offers him to sit next to her on the bus to school. From that day on, this girl named Jenny was his best friend. They did everything together, and Forrest was the happiest boy alive.
There was some situations in their growth where Forrest got bullied by the "cool" guys from school. Jennie was with him, as usual, but she couldn't do anything about it, so she just told him to run. And Forrest ran. And from that day on, wherever Forrest was going, he ran.
He even ran so fast that he got a place in Alabama's college football-team.
Forrest wasn't very cleaver, but yet he experienced a lot of big happenings in his life. For example, he participated in the Vietnam war (1955-1975), he was a elite ping pong player and because of that he met the president twice, he owned on of the biggest shrimping companies in America (this shrimping factory also became a part owner of Apple).
Forrest always had one or two friends by his side throughout his live. He had Bubba during the war and lieutenant Dan when he started the shrimping factory. All though he had people by his side, there was always something missing. But it wasn't just "something". It was his best friend, and the love of his life-Jenny.
Ever since that day when Jenny offered him the place next to her on the bus, belonged his heart to her.
But Jenny had her own life as a hippie, traveling around in America fighting for peace. She met some boys, but none of them was a guy for her. She visited Forrest once in a while, and Forrest always told her that she was worthy someone who could take care of her and love her with all of their heart. Forrest obviously meant himself, but Jenny couldn't stay with him. She had her own life, and I guess she didn't had the same feelings for Forrest as he had for her.
