answer: Sheffield was in the beginning really famous for their steel-industry, and it was also a rich city. Most of the residences in the city had a job, and they just didn't had a job, they also earned a lot of money. But sometime in sometimes in the 80-90's China got bigger with their steel-industry, they even got bigger than Sheffields. So when the factory didn't earned money on what they where doing anymore they had to fire all the workers and close the factory.

-Dave and Jean, answer: This relationship is actually a really good relationship. Dave is completely in love with Jean, and Jean is in love with Dave. The problem is just that Dave haven't got a lot of good confidence, because he is fat. That makes him feel insecure about himself, and he always thinks that Jean is searching for something better. He doesn't feel like he is enough.
-Gaz and Mandy, answer: These two have probably the worst relationship in the world. Gaz is still in love with Mandy, but Mandy have a new husband named Barry. And it's not a very big surprise that Mandy doesn't want to live with Gaz anymore. He don't have a job, he have been to jail several times and he can't take care of their son Nathan. There is one day when Mandy tells Gaz that Barry and her have been to the court, and the lawyer have decided to give Barry and Mandy sole custody of Nathan if Gaz doesn't give the mother 700 dollar.
