"Looking for Alaska"

So, I'm reading this book called "Looking for Alaska", and it's written by the famous author John Green. He has also written the best seller "The Fault in Our Stars" and some other masterpieces.

Looking for Alaska is about a boy, Miles, who is heading to a boarding school in Alabama. He leaves his mom and dad in Florida for this school, but his mom and dad are also the only things that he is leaving. He doesn't have any friends in Florida, so it won't be a hard farewell. Or well, he had one friend-Marie, but they weren't really close.
Miles has aways been quite a lonely person, and his best friend is his mother. So moving to Alabama and start on the school that also his father went to will be a new beginning for Miles.

Miles comes to the school and he gets his room. Just a moment later, Miles meets his roommate-Colonel(his actual name is Chip Martin, but everyone calls him the Colonel so I will call him the same in this summary), but he doesn't get the best first impression of him-he is short, muscular and smells smoke. Miles who just promised his mom and dad that he won't smoke will have a roommate who smokes, *wow how great* is his thought.

But Miles founds out that this "Colonel" is maybe better than he thought, and kind of nice. They talk for a while, and The Colonel tells Miles that he is really good at memorizing things, countries for example. Or well, The Colonel doesn't really tell Miles about that, he just looks at the world map that Miles has put over his bed and starts to recite all the countries that starts with A, B and so on.

After a while, The Colonel takes Miles out in the hallway, and leads him to a room where there is a sign on the door that says "Alaska has a single". They walk in, and meet a girl whose name is Alaska, and according to Miles, this is probably the hottest girl in all of human history.

The days go by, and it's time for Miles to have his first class-French. It works fine, he walks to the next classroom, and also that class works fine.
